THIS YEARS SCENARIO: The Niger Basin Syndicate Crisis
The Sahel is fracturing. A transnational criminal network has spent years seizing control of water infrastructure along the Niger River, one of West Africa's most vital lifelines. Over 130 million people depend on the Niger Basin. The Syndicate has demands. Engineers warn of catastrophic flooding if the infrastructure is attacked. Europe watches as migration routes surge. The Security Council must act now!
As a delegate, you represent one of 15 nations represented in the security council. Each country has their own interests. Your task: negotiate and pass a resolution before time runs out to deal with the crisis.
The MUN will take place from 15.05.2026 - 16.05.2026.
